Question 1
Ben & Jerry’s social mission starts from within, by prospering together with its family farmers who supply the raw ingredients such as milk, banana, vanilla and coffee in their ice cream production. Based on Ben & Jerry’s practices, would you think this could be replicated in your organisation, or any industry in general? Please explain why or why not in one or two sentence/s.

Question 2
The social mission of Ben & Jerry’s has been embedded deeply into their corporate practices. As a result, it creates a sense of job satisfaction among its workers. Will you feel empowered and motivated to work in an organisation with a purpose? Why?

To demonstrate transparency and integrity in what they do, Ben & Jerry’s maintain their credibility by complying with Fairtrade certification, B Corp Certification and more. What would your organisation do to maintain the integrity of social initiatives while also being profitable?
